Quality time. After a rough few months, Naya Rivera’s estranged husband, Ryan Dorsey, celebrated a happy occasion — Christmas — with their son.
The Ray Donovan actor, 34, posted a series of snaps to his Instagram on Monday, December 25, which showcased his fun-filled holiday with son Josey, 2. He captioned the sweet post: “#Winter17 Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas, & wishing you all a happier & healthier Happy New Year from them Dorsey dudes. I’m so thankful for this little dude, my main man, the sweetest boy I know.❄️🎅💙”
The Glee alum, 30, who was arrested after an altercation with Dorsey last month, did not appear in any of the photos. The father-son duo posed in Santa hats and were all smiles.
As previously reported, Rivera was charged with domestic battery after Dorsey told authorities she had struck him on the lip and head. The incident, which occurred on November 25, happened while the two were taking a walk with their son in Chesapeake, West Virginia. Dorsey showed deputies a cell phone video of the alleged attack. Her bond was set at $1,000 and she was released when her father-in-law picked her up from the courthouse.
In November 2016, Rivera filed for divorce from Dorsey after two years of marriage where she requested primary custody of Josey. “After much consideration, we have made the decision to end our marriage,” the former couple told Us Weekly in a joint statement at the time. “Our priority is and always will be our beautiful son that we share together. We will continue to be great co-parenting partners for him. We ask for respect and privacy for our family during this difficult time.”
The two later reconciled and Rivera withdrew her court filing in October 2017.
