Amanda Bynes nearly pulled a Britney. In her second mugshot following her Thursday, May 23 arrest in NYC, the actress, 27, was asked to remove her platinum blonde wig — and revealed a super-short haircut beneath as she glowered for the camera. (Us Weekly obtained the first mugshot taken at a midtown Manhattan police station, in which Bynes' wig remains in place.)
Entering an NYC court the next morning, the Easy A star was formally charged with attempted evidence tampering, reckless endangerment and marijuana possession for the Thursday incident at her NYC apartment — in which Bynes allegedly threw a bong out of her window after cops arrived.
TMZ reports that Bynes argued in court that the supposed bong, in fact, was "just a vase." (Building personnel had initially called the cops to complain that she was smoking marijuana in the building's lobby.)
The judge presiding during Friday's hearing let Bynes go without bail — threatening the former child star with an arrest warrant should she skip her July court hearing.
