Tali Lennox-Fruchtmann, the daughter of legendary singer Annie Lennox, was involved in a serious kayaking accident on Saturday, Aug. 8, on the Hudson River in upstate New York. Lennox-Fruchtmann, 22, and her boyfriend, Ian Jones, were on the river near the Staatsburgh State Historic Site when they capsized, officials tell Us Weekly.
The boat flipped around 9:30 a.m. local time and Lennox-Fruchtmann was picked up by a passing vessel. Jones, however, is currently still missing.
The Poughkeepsie Journal reports that according to police alcohol could have been a factor in the crash. Neither kayaker was wearing a life vest at the time of the accident. Search teams combed the area on Saturday until 10 p.m. and resumed looking at 7:30 a.m. on Sunday morning.
Tali is one of Lennox's two daughters she had with ex-husband Uri Fruchtmann.
