Who knew Darren Criss was such good friends with Vice President Joe Biden? The two “collaborated” for a political PSA spoof with the help of Criss’ singing, a green-screen and past footage of some very current issues.
Titled “Flying Robots,” some of the video’s highlights include Biden’s advice to the American public to fire a shotgun if there’s ever an intruder at home, in addition to other clips from politicians and news personalities.
“Joe Biden and his press secretary, Darren Criss, educate the public on shotgun use while politicians and pundits broadcast warnings of flying robots and spies,” reads the description for the video.
“Since I couldn’t pencil @JoeBiden into my busy schedule, we captured our duet through a lil’ movie magic. @gregorybrothers #flyingrobots,” the Glee actor wrote via Instagram on Wednesday, Aug. 7, sharing a photo of himself in front of a green-screen for the “duet” performance.
The auto-tune mash-up was created by The Gregory Brothers, a group the 26-year-old actor has been a fan of for years. He later retweeted a friend referencing to their summer days watching the musical comedy group “on endless repeat.”
