Drake is finally responding to the dozens of crazy tweets Amanda Bynes has written about him. The 26-year-old rapper covers the August issue of XXL magazine, and shared his reaction to the “ugly,” “gorgeous” and, at times, vulgar things the 27-year-old actress has tweeted.
“I don’t even know who is doing that or what that’s about,” Drake said. “If that is her, I guess it’s a little weird and disturbing.”
On Twitter, Bynes has had an on-again, off-again crush on the former Degrassi: The Next Generation star. On March 21, she wrote, “I want Drake to murder my vagina.” In other messages, she’s called Drake a “hot fellow” and “gorgeous.” At other times, Bynes has called him “ugly.”
“It’s obviously a behavioral pattern that is way bigger than me,” Drake told XXL. “Whoever is behind it, whether it’s her or somebody else, they know people are paying attention so they keep it going.”
Bynes is currently being held under an extended, involuntary 5150 psychiatric hold. She was hospitalized on July 22 after allegedly starting a fire in a stranger’s driveway in her hometown of Thousand Oaks, Calif.
The Easy A star’s parents, Rick and Lynn Bynes, have filed to place a conservatorship on their daughter. A hearing has been set for Aug. 9, when Bynes is set to be released.
