Nothing but blue skies. The honeymoon is long over for Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin — but their family trip to paradise is still very much in play. On Sunday, April 6, the Oscar-winning actress tweeted for the first time since announcing her separation from the Coldplay frontman, sharing a link to an Instagram photo from their family vacation in the Exuma Islands of the Bahamas.
"No line on the horizon," the Iron Man 3 star, 41, captioned the gorgeous photo, which showed the turquoise-blue ocean blending almost seamlessly with the pale-blue sky. She hashtagged the picture "#exumas."
Paltrow and Martin, 37, have been in the Bahamas for two weeks now, since before they revealed their "conscious uncoupling" in a March 25 post on the actress' Goop lifestyle website. They escaped there with their kids, Apple, 9, and Moses, 7, to avoid the inevitable "frenzy" over their split, a source previously told Us Weekly.
The family vacation started in Eleuthera, where the foursome rented a private beachfront home for $7,500 a week. "When only Gwyneth and Chris are together, there appears to be some tension," a second insider told Us. "But when the kids are with them, they appear to be one big happy family with no cares in the world."
