Master of disguise! Hillary Clinton reacted to Katy Perry’s over-the-top Halloween costume that looked spookily similar to the Democratic presidential nominee — and she was majorly impressed.
Extra’s Tracey Edmonds showed the Oval Office hopeful, 69, a photo of the 32-year-old pop star covered in prosthetics and clad in a red pantsuit and her boyfriend, Orlando Bloom, dressed as a cartoonish Donald Trump. Clinton was stunned at Perry’s transformation and replied, “Oh, my — look at that! This is shocking — oh, my gosh.”
Jennifer Lopez, who was appearing alongside the former first lady for interviews as part of their joint Get Out the Vote event in Miami on Saturday, October 29, chimed in, “Is that them?”
Clinton added, “This is great! She could be me when we finish the campaign.”
The “Rise” singer, who has been a huge supporter of Clinton since the beginning of her campaign, went all out for a Halloween party in Hollywood on Friday, October 28. “Having a little pre party before I take office #IMWITHME,” she captioned a photo of herself getting glammed up by several makeup artists and hairstylists while she sipped on a martini.
Meanwhile, Bloom, 39, wore a wild orange wig, a “Make America Great Again” hat and a larger-than-life mask, face and hands to play the Republican presidential candidate. Perry’s pal and CAA agent Michael Kives dressed as Bill Clinton and several other friends went as Secret Service agents.
“It took about five hours in hair and makeup for Katy and Michael to make their Hillary and Bill transformations,” a source told Us Weekly of their dedication to their costumes. “Upon arriving at the party, no one knew it was Katy and Michael. They immediately went to the dance floor to start dancing and were obviously a huge hit among the crowd.”
