Happy wife, happy life! Holly Madison is still in the honeymoon period of her marriage to boyfriend of two years Pasquale Rotella, but the former Girls Next Door star tells Us Weekly that she’s found true joy as a married woman.
“I’m just a lot happier,” she told Us at the Runner Runner movie premiere in Las Vegas on Wednesday, Sept. 18, attributing her happiness to “balance.”
“Married life is amazing,” she said. “I’m having a good time with my family and just spending some time at home.”
Madison, 33, tied the knot with Insomniac Events founder Rotella in a fairytale wedding in Disneyland’s Blue Bayou restaurant in the Pirates of the Caribbean ride on Tuesday, Sept. 10. The blushing bride wore a custom-designed Gregg Barnes gown, a $500,000 diamond tiara resting on her head.
For the reception, Madison changed into a stunning white Roberto Cavalli number that hugged her curves and showed off her enviable figure. Her bridesmaids — including costars Bridget Marquardt and Laura Croft — wore deep blue strapless Chagoury Couture frocks for the occasion.
The fete also featured two cakes for the occasion, with Madison’s towering concoction revealing a surprise rainbow cake filling. Rotella’s groom’s cake was Nutella-flavored.
“People think getting married at Disneyland has to be corny!” Madison told Us of her nuptials. “[But] Pasquale and I both love Disney.”
Even the couple’s 6-month-old daughter Rainbow was given a part in the extravagant ceremony. Joked Madison of the tiny tot, who was toted down the aisle by a groomsman, “she was my mini-bridesmaid!”
