Thanks to his muscular body, blue eyes and Australian accent, Liam Hemsworth knows how to make the girls go wild.
And yet, the 22-year-old actor doesn't see himself as a sex symbol. "I don't consider myself a heartthrob in any way," Hemsworth told reporters at The Hunger Games premiere in L.A. Monday. "I'm just pinching myself. I'm truly fortunate to be a part of this whole process."
Hemsworth, who walked the red carpet with girlfriend of two years Miley Cyrus, added: "I'm trying to take it day by day and I'm constantly pinching myself. I just feel like I am part of a crazy ride right now."
The actor said he hopes fans "like" the film, in theaters March 23 — but not because of his involvement.
"Haymitch is probably my favorite character from the book and I'm very excited for the fans to see him," Hemsworth said. "Woody Harrelson is an amazing actor and the character is amazing."
