Where's spell check when you need it? Miley Cyrus has been dating Patrick Schwarzenegger for three months now, but there's at least one thing she still doesn't know about him — the spelling of his (admittedly long) last name.
On Friday, Jan. 23, the "Adore You" singer sat down to chat with Good Morning America's Cameron Mathison about her new campaign for MAC cosmetics. Toward the end of the interview, Mathison brought up Schwarzenegger, the 21-year-old son of actor/politician Arnold Schwarzenegger.
"One more question. It's gonna be a biggie," the GMA correspondent began. "It's sort of like a quiz show question…Are you a good speller?"
Cyrus replied that spelling isn't her strong suit, but Mathison proceeded with his question anyway. "How do you spell Schwarzenegger?" he asked.
"Literally, I just had this conversation. I can't tell you," she confessed. "Apparently there's not a 't' in it."
Spelling foibles aside, the 22-year-old Grammy-nominated star has a lot to offer. She recently partnered with MAC on a line of lipsticks — the sales of which will go toward the MAC AIDS Fund. She also works with young adults at the Los Angeles LGBT Center.
Asked whether she considers herself a role model, Cyrus replied, "I can actually say I am for what I know is important to teach people. And what is important to teach people is, you can't judge other people."
