A spinoff of The Bachelor, the reality dating show Bachelor in Paradise features previous Bachelor and Bachelorette contestants who travel to a secluded paradise in Mexico to explore new relationships.

Emily has to juggle her career, friendships and love life while adjusting to the cultural differences of living in Paris.

"Emily in Paris," created by Darren Star, is a comedy-drama series that premiered on Netflix in October 2020. The show centers around Emily Cooper, portrayed by Lily Collins, a young American marketing executive from Chicago who is sent to Paris to provide an American perspective to a venerable French marketing firm. Spanning three seasons as of 2023, "Emily in Paris" captures the cultural clash and adaptation challenges Emily faces while navigating her professional and personal life in the picturesque French capital. The series is celebrated for its stylish depiction of Parisian life, eye-catching fashion, and the charming yet sometimes cliché portrayal of Parisian culture.

Emily in Paris premiered in October 2020. It was renewed for seasons 3 and 4 in January 2022.

Along her journey, she meets Mindy Chen (Ashley Park), Gabriel (Lucas Bravo), Julien (Samuel Arnold), Luc (Bruno Gouery), Camille (Camille Razat) and Antione Lambert (William Abadie).

 

The medical drama Grey’s Anatomy premiered on ABC in March 2005. The Shonda Rhimes-created series, narrated by Ellen Pompeo’s character, Meredith Grey, follows the personal and professional lives of surgical interns and their supervisors at the fictional Seattle Grace Hospital (later named Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital).вавпап

The original cast of Grey’s included Pompeo (Meredith), Sandra Oh (Christina Yang), Katherine Heigl (Izzie Stevens), Justin Chambers (Alex Karev), T.R. Grey’s is the longest-running scripted primetime show currently airing on ABC and is highly decorated, winning the Golden Globe Award for Best Television Series in 2007. The show has been nominated for 38 Primetime Emmy Awards through the years, including two nods for Outstanding Drama Series.

The Bachelor Winter Games

The Bachelor Winter Games premiered on ABC in February 2018. Hosted by Chris Harrison and Hannah Storm, the short-lived series was a spinoff of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette and a winter counterpart to Bachelor in Paradise.

The Bachelor Winter Games brought fan-favorite contestants from across Bachelor Nation to a resort in Manchester, Vermont. The reality stars competed in a series of winter sports while simultaneously looking for love. The two winners of each competition earned a date card, which they could use to ask anybody out.

Kevin Wendt and Ashley Iaconetti won the first season of The Bachelor Winter Games after competing in couples ice dancing, but their relationship didn’t last outside of the show. Three other couples emerged from season 1: Lily McManus-Semchyshyn and Courtney DoberLesley Murphy and Dean Unglert and Clare Crawley and Benoit Beauséjour-Savard. They have all since split.

The Bachelor Winter Games featured contestants from 11 different countries in its first and only season.

Game of Thrones

An adaptation of the fantasy series A Song of Ice and Fire by George R. R. Martin, Game of Thrones premiered on HBO in April 2011. The series ran for 8 seasons and ended in May 2019.

GoT is set in the land of Westeros with seven kingdoms scattered around the continent. Several noble families fight to take claim of the Iron Throne, including House Stark, the family ruling the North. Ned (Sean Bean) and Catelyn Stark (Michelle Fairley) share five children — Robb (Richard Madden), Sansa (Sophie Turner), Arya (Maisie Williams), Bran (Isaac Hempstead Wright) and Rickon (Art Parkinson) — and Ned raises his nephew Jon Snow (Kit Harington) as his illegitimate child. When Ned is falsely charged of treason and executed the Stark family begins to fall apart.

Across the sea in the continent of Essos, Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) from House Targaryen is trying to build an army in order to reclaim the Iron Throne. The Targaryens once commanded dragons and were the original rulers of Westeros, which was taken over by the Baratheon and Lannister families. Multiple storylines emerge throughout the series as political conflicts brew and Houses declare war on each other.

Game of Thrones received 164 Primetime Emmy Award nominations before its highly anticipated — and widely criticized — series finale, winning 59 trophies. It received eight Golden Globe Award nominations,  five of which were for Best Television Series — Drama. A prequel series titled House of Dragon premiered on HBO in 2022.

Homeland is based on the Israeli series Prisoners of War and follows Marine Corps Scout Sniper Nicholas Brody (Damian Lewis), who was held captive as a prisoner of war by al-Qaeda. CIA officer Carrie Mathison (Claire Danes) grows suspicious of Brody, convinced he was turned by the enemy and poses a threat to the United States.

"Homeland," an American espionage thriller television series, debuted on Showtime on October 2, 2011. Created by Howard Gordon and Alex Gansa, the series stars Claire Danes as Carrie Mathison, a CIA operations officer dealing with bipolar disorder, and Damian Lewis as Nicholas Brody, a U.S. Marine Sergeant who was held captive by Al-Qaeda as a prisoner of war. Upon Brody's return, Mathison suspects he has been turned by the enemy and poses a risk to national security. The complex narrative intertwines Brody's readjustment to civilian life with Mathison's relentless pursuit of the truth, creating a tense and gripping storyline that keeps viewers on the edge of their seats. The show adeptly tackles themes of loyalty, morality, and the personal costs of working in military intelligence.

Like the books that inspired it, the show puts a spotlight on a different Bridgerton sibling with each season. The Shondaland hit has broken viewership records and was renewed for seasons 3 and 4 in April 2021.
