Tis' the season! Now that he's gotten a bronze medal in his back-pocket, all Nick Goepper needs is someone to celebrate with. The USA Olympic skier tells Us Weekly exclusively that he will choose one female fan from his social media feed to go on a date with following the 2014 Olympics.
"I just want them to fall in love. Love is the most powerful emotion out there," Goepper, 19, said to Us reporter Jennifer Peros in Sochi. The heartthrob isn't asking for much to help in his choosing, either. Contenders have to simply catch his eye via Twitter (@NickGoepper) or Instagram.
"This is kind of like a tryout," he boasted. "They post something creative and something to catch my attention."
The lucky lady will be flown out to wherever Goepper is training at the time. "[I'm looking for a] super fun, easy relationship," he tells Us. "I'm just gonna surprise them," he said of the impending date. "Dinner and maybe a sleigh ride. Maybe some skiing. We'll see."
The Indiana native took home a bronze win after competing in the men's slopestyle event on Thursday, Feb. 13. But clearly, he's only thinking about the next prize. "It's Valentines day ladies!!" he tweeted on Friday, Feb. 14. "Ya hah-chi loob vee" I'm looking for love- in Russian." He added: "Is there ANYONE out there generous enough to be my Valentine? #sochiproblems."
