Porsha Williams had another run-in with the law on Monday, Dec. 29. According to a new report from TMZ, the Real Housewives of Atlanta star was pulled over for speeding, and then arrested for allegedly driving with a suspended license.
Subsequently, TMZ reports, Williams was booked and taken to jail, where she later posted $1,726 bond to be released.
The Bravo-lebrity, 33, addressed the incident in a statement to Dish Nation late Monday, saying she was wrong for speeding but had a good reason.
"I was headed to visit my grandfather who is very ill with cancer in the hospital, and I was pulled over," she said in her statement. "I was wrong for speeding absolutely and apologize for putting anyone at risk. I tried to explain the situation to the officer and show him that all my paperwork was in order, but he refused."
She added: "Handcuffs are not comfortable or a good look for anyone. I was released, [and] I have my license, my car, and my freedom."
This is the reality star's second arrest this year. She was previously booked back in April on a battery misdemeanor charge related to her March fight with RHOA costar Kenya Moore during the show's reunion taping. As seen on the Dec. 28 episode, the two recently made amends.
