Bottoms up! Many who tuned into Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton’s final presidential debate on Wednesday, October 19, played drinking games, took to social media and cringed way too many times to count. (Check out one of the most talked-about moments of the night – Trump’s “nasty woman” dig at Clinton – in Us Weekly Video‘s supercut above!)
The battle was moderated — to much acclaim — by Fox’s Chris Wallace at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. The 90-minute showdown was jam-packed with hot topics, awkward jabs by the candidates and remarks made by Trump, 70, that sparked outrage from viewers and several stars.
In particular, the mogul was bashed for calling Clinton, 68, a “nasty woman,” bringing back the word “bigly,” slamming “bad hombres” and joking that he should have won an Emmy for The Celebrity Apprentice.
“‘Such a nasty woman’? What he meant was, ‘Women, they’re nasty!'” filmmaker Michael Moore tweeted on Thursday. “Let’s make sure he learns just how nasty women (& men) can be with a ballot.”
Orange Is the New Black’s Uzo Aduba added: “The ‘nasty woman’ comment, in the end, will sum up this presidential run and be the mark of the final undoing tonight. #debatenight.”
Julia Louis-Dreyfus, meanwhile, poked fun at Trump’s awards talk. The Veep star has won a total of nine Emmys in her career. “The Emmys are NOT rigged,” she wrote. “@VeepHBO @HillaryClinton @realDonaldTrump #debatenight.”
Reactions continued to pour in well into the night. Celebs like Rosie O’Donnell, John Legend and Chelsea Handler, who have called out Trump before, didn’t hold back.
“ALL YOUR BUSINESS DEALS FAIL U DELUSIONAL TURD #debatenight,” O’Donnell tweeted. “U STUPID LYING ARROGANT ONE SENTENCE SNIFFER — U R A BAD BAD PERSON DONALD – snifffff sifffffff #debatenight.” The comedian and Trump have been in a feud for years. During the first presidential debate, Trump defended his calling O’Donnell a pig and slob in the past.
Handler was just as vocal. She tweeted more than 25 times during the event. “Trump’s two biggest areas of knowledge: debt and entitlement. #debate,” she wrote. “Nobody respects women as much as he does. #NastyWoman #debate.”
She went on to state what many viewers were perhaps thinking. “This is the least amount of fun anyone has ever had in Vegas. #LetsGetThePartyStarted #debate,” she posted.
Legend, for his part, retweeted a photo of Clinton and President Barack Obama laughing, with the caption: “and then he said, ‘no one has more respect for women than I do.'”
Surprisingly, Chrissy Teigen wasn’t as vocal compared with past debates, but she did get her point across with one simple tweet: “Personally, I’d watch @ambertamblyn as donald trump on tonight’s #lipsyncbattle over watching actual donald pretend he can run this country,” she shared.

Since The Real Housewives isn’t on tonight, I guess I’ll have to see a catfight the old-fashioned way… by watching the #debate.
