Shakira and Gerard Pique look more in love than ever! Three months after the singer and the soccer player welcomed son Milan, the first-time parents enjoyed a baby-free night out when they attended the Panathinaikos Athens vs. Barca Regal basketball game in Barcelona, Spain, Apr. 25.
The Voice mentor, 36, and the center back, 26, shared a sweet kiss during the athletic event. Ever the gentleman, Pique even wrapped his girlfriend up in his red and blue scarf. The lovebirds cheered wildly as their home team, Barca Regal, triumphed over its rival with a 64-53 finish.
The pair had another reason to celebrate that night, as Shakira picked up a handful of Billboard Latin Music Awards: Song Artist of the Year, Latin Pop Artist of the Year and Social Artist.
Three days earlier, at the NBC Summer Press Day in Pasadena, Calif., Shakira spoke to Us Weekly about how she’s coping with motherhood. “I didn’t expect babies to need so many diapers! Nobody told me they needed to be changed so often!” the Colombian pop star joked. “I mean he’s a great, great baby. He’s an easy one, I think. But nobody told me it would be this hard. It takes a lot of energy from you. But I love it, I’m really enjoying every bit of it. It’s just that it’s not as idyllic as everybody tells you, but also not as horrible as everyone tells you.”
Luckily, Pique — who recently shaved his head — pitches in with Milan whenever possible. “He has been amazing,” she gushed of the athlete. “The baby spends as much time with me as he does with his dad. He’s the kind of dad who’s full hands on. He changes diapers, he bathes him, he enjoys playing with the baby, he enjoys feeding him, all of that stuff.”
