Teresa Giudice is officially off the hook. The Real Housewives of New Jersey star ended her 44-day house arrest on Friday, February 5.
“As of 9 a.m. this morning, the ankle monitor was removed. She’s no longer on home confinement. She’s free to come and go as she pleases,” Giudice’s lawyer, James Leonard, told Us Weekly in a statement on Friday. “Teresa is no longer subject to the parameters of home confinement. She is now free in all aspects from the custodial portion of her sentence. Teresa is very happy about house arrest being over and will spend tonight out to dinner with her family.”

Giudice, 43, also tweeted about her newfound freedom. “Feeling so blessed today xo,” she wrote, adding four emojis of praying hands.
As previously reported, the mom of four was released from Danbury Federal Correctional Institution in Connecticut on December 23 after 11 months behind bars. Her husband, Joe Giudice, will begin his 41-month sentence for fraud charges at the Fort Dix Federal Correctional Institution in New Jersey next month.
After her release, the Bravo standout was allowed to leave her Franklin Lakes, New Jersey, estate only on certain occasions. Last month, she attended sister-in-law Melissa Gorga‘s boutique opening in Montclair.
“I’m doing really good. I feel great,” she told Us at the time. “Family is the most important thing to me, and coming here to support her and my family is amazing.”
Teresa has also been working on her own business ventures. Her new memoir, Turning the Tables: From Housewife to Inmate and Back Again, hits shelves on Tuesday, February 9.
