US Open or Oscars afterparty? The stands at the Arthur Ashe Stadium in Queens, N.Y., have been packed with familiar faces in the last week and a half since the US Open Tennis Tournament kicked off on Aug. 31 — and the celebrity fans we’ve noted read like a who’s who in Hollywood.
On Wednesday, Sept. 9, good pals Jimmy Fallon and Justin Timberlake brought some extra excitement to the stadium during a changeover in the match between Roger Federer and Richard Gasquet, when the duo did a dance to Beyonce’s “Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)” when the song blasted on the speakers.
Fallon, 40, and Timberlake, 34, mimicked Queen Bey’s choreography as best they could in the Emirates Airlines suite, with the late-night talk show host cracking up the entire time.
Tennis legend Andre Agassi was in on the viewing on Wednesday night as well, cheering as Federer defeated Gasquet 6 to 3, 6 to 3, and 6 to 1.
Also in the crowd: Alec Baldwin, Bradley Cooper, Michael J. Fox, and Katie Couric.
One night earlier, on Tuesday, Sept. 8, celebrities showed up by the dozens to watch Serena Williams go head-to-head with her sister Venus Williams (Serena, 33, defeated her older sister, 35, after three sets, continuing her bid for a Grand Slam).
Among the bold-faced names in the crowd were Kim Kardashian, Donald Trump and wife Melania Trump, Oprah Winfrey amd BFF Gayle King, Anna Wintour, and friends Kendall Jenner, Gigi Hadid, and Joe Jonas.
Tiger Woods and daughter Sam, 8, cheered from the stands as well on Tuesday night. The golf champ even took an epic selfie with golf pro Shooter McGavin.
“Two golf legends catching up with each other at the US Open the other day,” McGavin captioned an Instagram selfie of the pair.
