Congratulations, Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel!
Us Weekly has confirmed that the couple of five years tied the knot in Southern Italy Friday. But how did the pair, who initially intended to wed in Northern California, settle on the ultra-romantic destination — and keep it a secret from nearly everyone on their guest list?
Sources close to the "Sexy Back" singer, 31, and the Total Recall actress, 30, told Us the duo first fell in love with the Mediterranean country while attending the 2008 Italian nuptials of Beverley Mitchell, Biel's close pal and former 7th Heaven costar.
During a romantic April getaway to Italy (which included stops at Francis Ford Coppola's Palazzo Margherita hotel in Naples), Timberlake and Biel decided once and for all that the country was where they wanted to swap vows. "The location means a lot to them," a source explains to Us.
As their big day drew closer, Timberlake and Biel did their best to keep the spot under wraps, flying guests first into Germany, and then finally via private jet to Italy, without revealing exactly where their loved ones were headed.
Says an insider close to the groom, "Justin wanted to be very slick with it!"
