Pinto explains that she doesn't spend a lot of time thinking about her personal style. "I work with my best friend who is also my stylist and lives in India and we figure out my outfits over the phone," Pinto reveals. "I'm at a point in my life where I don't want to be told what I should be wearing, know what I should be wearing," the Slumdog Millionaire actress says. "I just want her to help me get the outfit or make some suggestions on how I could put it together with shoes and other accessories." She adds, "I don't put much thought into it. It just turns out that it works!"
"I cannot do my hair myself!" Pinto exclaims. "Marcus Francis does my hair and I asked him to give me a styling lesson for my birthday," she admits. While she says that she can do her makeup pretty well, she confesses that she still has a lot to learn. "I asked Kirin Bhatty, my makeup artist, to do the same because she does an amazing job at concealing," the 33-year-old tells Stylish.
The Indian beauty says that she loves NARS products and foundation because it's very hard to find something to match her skin tone. "Indian skin tone is very complicated," she explains. "It has yellow undertones and discoloration and what not as you age," she adds. In addition to NARS, Pinto loves RMS products and the skincare line True Botanicals which she "swears by."
Pinto's favorite beauty indulgence isn't just focused on her face, it's a full-on body experience. She says, "I love taking care of my whole body, so a day at the Korean Bath Hot Springs is my favorite beauty splurge." As for her practical day-to-day beauty routine, the actress reveals that she always carries Lucas Pawpaw. "It's one little tube that takes care of everything," Pinto reveals.
Pinto confesses that she has had enough of big parties during the holiday season and is looking forward to going somewhere beautiful and quiet. When she does decide to get into a festive mood, the Desert Dancer actress says she likes to add a pop of color. She explains, "I like wearing lots of reds during this time of year. As much as I have my staple black pieces, I also love adding a color."
