Though she failed to earn Brad Womack's final rose on this season of The Bachelor, Ashley Hebert will get a second chance at love on the new season of The Bachelorette.
The announcement was made on Monday night's Jimmy Kimmel Live, a couple hours after Bachelor finale.
Jimmy Kimmel jokingly asked the new Bachelorette to swear a solemn oath: "Do you promise, on national television, to date 25 men simultaneously without complaining? Do you promise to make sure the hot tubs are clean and have enough chlorine and their bacteria levels are low?"
Fans came to know the flirty dental student, 26, as she competed for Womack's love and attention on the most recent season, won by Emily Maynard.
Though her jealousy toward her fellow contestants was often evident during Womack's season, the third-place finisher says things will be different now that she has a whole new crop of bachelors competing to win her heart.
"I think it all worked out for the best," the brand-new reality star said on Jimmy Kimmel Live.
Hebert's search for love begins May 23 on ABC.
