Oh look, another glorious morning! Bette Midler is making fans sick with excitement over a recent Twitter comment. The Freak Show actress teased a possible Hocus Pocus reboot — and why it’s stalled — on Monday, Oct. 26.
“.@kathynajimy .@SJP Breaking news!! SEQUEL DELAYED!!” Midler, 69, tweeted to her costars Kathy Najimy and Sarah Jessica Parker. “@Disney having trouble finding a virgin! #HocusPocus.”

Midler starred in the beloved flick with Najimy and Parker in 1993. The trio played the Sanderson sisters, Winfred, Mary, and Sarah, respectively. In the film, the witches are resurrected after a virgin named Max (Omri Katz) lights a candle at their home-turned-museum in Salem, Mass.
Speculation of a Hocus Pocus reboot began last year, and some reports claimed that Tina Fey would produce. Her rep, however, denied the rumors at the time.
The David Kirschner-written film has become a classic for Halloween fanatics. Some highlights include Midler’s “I Put a Spell on You” performance and Parker’s creepy “Come Little Children” sing-along.
Hocus Pocus also starred Thora Birch (Dani), Vinessa Shaw (Allison), Doug Jones (Billy Butcherson), Garry Marshall (Devil), Penny Marshall (The Master’s Wife), Stephanie Faracy (Jenny), Charles Rocket (Dave), and Jason Marsden, who voiced Thackery Binx.
