The Scooby Gang, together again! Buffy the Vampire Slayer has been off the air since 2003, but that doesn’t mean Joss Whedon’s beloved castmates can’t enjoy some quality time together.
Star Sarah Michelle Gellar is often the one posting pictures of her reunions, but in the past few weeks, some of the other Sunnydale residents have been getting together.
“This happened today. #buffy #ozcomiccon #xander #anya @fordmark1 #australia #winning #nickbrendon #buffed #emmacaulfieldapprovesthismessage,” Emma Caulfield, who played reformed vengeance demon Anya, posted along with a photo of her on-screen love interest Nicholas Brendon, who played the lovable Xander.
The pair posed next to a shoeshine sign that reads, “Buffed” — see what they did there? They are currently in Australia for Oz Comic-Con, and spoke to the Brisbane Times about life since their hit show went off the air.
“I still am very touched and blown away by the level at which that show affected people, like ‘You saved my life,'” Caulfield told the Aussie paper. “It’s a lovely gift.”
This wasn’t Caulfield’s first big Buffy reunion. In July she posted an adorable pic with costar Anthony Stewart Head, who played Buffy’s Watcher Rupert Giles.
“Best night ever! The incomparable Tony Head! @AnthonySHead. Love him! #itscooltobekind,” she captioned the sweet shot.
Meanwhile, actresses Eliza Dushku (Faith) and Charisma Carpenter (Cordelia) took a selfie together on Saturday, Sept. 6, with Carpenter posting the fun snap, writing, “@elizadushku old friends.”
As long as the cast is in the reunion spirit, can we request a Spike and Buffy selfie soon?
