What will Darla say?! Bug Hall, the former child star who played Alfalfa in The Little Rascals, resurfaced this week thanks to viral Twitter and Instagram photos, and he is sporting an entirely different look than his pointy, namesake hairdo.
As unearthed by BuzzFeed, the grown-up actor, 30, is now quite the burly man, showing off a full beard and curled mustache in selfies posted to his social media accounts. Hall continued his acting career after his breakout role in the classic '90s take on Our Gang, but attracts a different audience with his reddish facial hair and handsome features.
After charming audiences as a member of the He-Man Women Hater's Club with a soft spot for a little girl named Darla (Brittany Ashton Holmes), Hall went on to appear in 1995's The Big Green, 1997's Honey, We Shrunk Ourselves, and 1998's Safety Patrol.
As he grew up, Hall made cameos on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Cold Case, The O.C., and CSI: Miami. In recent years, the childhood charmer appeared in Nikita, Criminal Minds, 90210, and even returned to the gang's neighborhood to play the Ice Cream Man in 2014's The Little Rascals Save the Day.
