Following the massive box office success of 2014’s The Fault in Our Stars, author John Green has another highly-anticipated film adaptation in the works for his 2008 YA novel Paper Towns. Starring in this film will be sassy British model Cara Delevingne and FIOS actor Nat Wolff, who played Isaac in the best-selling author’s first film.
Green will be penning the screenplay for Paper Towns, as he did for The Fault in Our Stars, and Wolff, 19, will play narrator Quentin Jacobsen, while Delevingne, 22, will play his mysterious and beautiful neighbor Margo Roth Spiegelman.
The British stunner also played Princess Sorokina in 2012’s Anna Karenina, and has several film credits in production, according to IMDb. Wolff, who was credited as a scene-stealer in the beloved romance film, appeared in 2013’s Palo Alto and also has a role in Nancy Meyers’ upcoming film, The Intern, starring Robert De Niro and Anne Hathaway.
Loyal fans of Green immediately sought his opinion on Delevingne’s casting, concerned by her lack of acting experience.
“Cara Delevigne's audition blew everyone away (including me!) and she understands Margo profoundly. I am so excited!” he tweeted on Sept. 16, adding, “(I should probably learn how to spell Cara's surname at some point.)”
