What injury?
William Levy danced his way to the top Monday night on Dancing With the Stars despite his injured ankle. The contestant was determined to dance despite doctor's orders to rest for two weeks.
Levy, 31, tweeted to his fans Sunday, "Just wanted to let u know that I injured my right ankle pretty bad during rehearsal..MRI tomorrow. I'll let u all know…Love u all."
The Cuban heartthrob didn't think he'd be able to dance and told Us Weekly after the show, "I had the worst 48 hours. It was a hard, hard, hard weekend."
The MRI revealed "a torn ligament" and Levy said, "I'm supposed to rest, but we gotta do what we gotta do here."
Dancing with pro partner Cheryl Burke, Levy tied with contestant Katherine Jenkins for the top place with his Argentine tango to the Pussycat Dolls' "Buttons," earning him a nearly perfect score of 29/30.
"I took a lot of pills for the pain before I went out and danced, so I didn't feel anything!" he told Us. "The doctor said I should rest for probably two weeks, but he also said I'll probably recover pretty fast."
And he hopes to stay on top!
"Hopefully I'll be here for as long as people want us to be here," the handsome actor said. "Hopefully to the end!"
