Dorky daddy!
Courteney Cox and David Arquette's 7-year-old daughter Coco is worried that her dad will embarrass her on the upcoming season of Dancing with the Stars.
"My daughter is a little nervous for me," Arquette, 39, told Us Weekly Monday at DWTS' cast reveal in L.A. "Coco is a little worried I'll embarrass her, and I'm sure I will."
So will Arquette take extra caution not to embarrass his little girl? "Hey, my parents embarrassed me, and their parents embarrassed them, so it's a long line of embarrassment," he joked to Us. "But ultimately I think she'll be excited to see me perform, and I look forward to when maybe she gets past the embarrassment, maybe she'll want to learn a few moves with me! I'd love to dance with her and have her be a part of this."
The actor — who's partnered with Kym Johnson on the show — thinks competing for the Mirror Ball Trophy "will be a lot of fun… really challenging, [and] it'll give me the ability to get in great shape and learn some moves!"
Arquette's physical health and wellbeing are clearly priorities in his life, especially since his split from Cox, 47, in Oct. 2010. In an interview with Tonic.com, the Scream 4 star listed his health as one of his Favorite 40 Things at 40. (Arquette turns 40 on Sept. 8.)
But what came in first place on that list? "My incredible, beautiful, hilarious and kind daughter Coco," he gushed.
Also on Arquette's list? Sobriety, entertaining people and dancing; "It's my opinion that [dancing] exercises the soul," he said.
