When 24-year-old actor Darren Criss stepped onto the set of a little show called Glee, he had no idea that in six months' time, he'd be able to release a full studio album with the band formed on the series, The Dalton Academy Warblers.
"It's incredible that there's been such a positive response to the Warblers and I'm so thrilled that there was interest at all in the Warblers having their own album," Criss tells RollingStone.com of the fan reception to his role as Blaine Anderson on Glee.
Criss and his costars who comprise The Warblers, the singers from McKinley High's rival glee club, have released Glee: The Music Presents: The Warblers, featuring covers as seen on the show from artists like Beyonce, Paul McCartney and Rod Stewart.
As Criss and The Warblers prepare to hit the road this summer with the Glee live concert tour, check out the actor's acoustic set — featuring "Animal," "Misery/This Love" and "Somewhere Only We Know" — above!
