Cleveland’s about to get a little colder. TV Land’s beloved comedy Hot in Cleveland will be ending after season 6. The network announced the decision on Monday, Nov. 17.
“It’s been an honor to work with Valerie Bertinelli, Jane Leeves, Wendie Malick and the incomparable Betty White,” TV Land president Larry W. Jones said in a statement to The Hollywood Reporter. “The passion and talent they brought to the set each and every week over the past five years has put TV Land on the map as a network dedicated to quality original programming. We will continue to celebrate the show and are looking forward to a fantastic series finale."
The show, which started in 2010, follows a group of three women who leave Los Angeles for the not-quite-as-glamorous Cleveland where they are considered “hot.”
Star Jane Leeves took to Twitter on Monday after the news was announced, writing, “BIG thank you to our amazing fans! I hope you love the final season as much as we've loved making it. It's been such a gift. #HotInCleveland.”
