Liar, liar? Bachelor in Paradise alums Jade Roper and Tanner Tolbert receive their polygraph results on Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars’ Friday, December 9, episode, as seen in Us Weekly’s exclusive sneak peek.
In the WE TV relationship series’ preview clip, Judge Lynn Toler reveals the newlyweds’ lie-detector results, starting with Tolbert. “Tanner, your question was, ‘Have you ever considered leaving Jade?’ And your answer was … ?” Toler says.
“No,” Tolbert replies confidently. As it turns out, the polygraph test did not detect any deception on his part.
Roper then shares with the camera, “This lie-detector test has me pretty nervous, so I felt like I was going to have a panic attack.”
Next, it’s the Bachelor season 19 standout’s turn for the results. Toler says, “Jade, please stand. Have you had contact with your ex-boyfriends that you’ve hidden from Tanner since you’ve been married? Your answer was … ?”
“No,” Roper says. The Divorce Court star responds, “Deception was indicated. Have a seat.” Uh-oh, Jade.
Her husband spills to the cameras, “It’s not a good feeling to be the only one in the room whose partner showed deception on the polygraph results.“ Tolbert continues, “Now I just have to decide whether or not I’m going to trust my gut or trust what the test said.”
Last week’s episode featured Roper dealing with self-esteem issues, as she called herself “disgusting” and added, “I always feel like I’m a burden to people because I’m insecure.”
Should Tolbert take Roper on her word? Watch the clip above to see his reaction. Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars airs on We TV Fridays at 9 p.m. ET.
