Michael Knight, no longer a lone crusader! Knight Rider alum David Hasselhoff teamed up with Justin Bieber this week for a yet-to-be revealed video project featuring KITT, the talking car from Hasselhoff's 1982 TV series.
The Baywatch alum, 62, was photographed in the driver's seat of his old Pontiac Trans Am, a.k.a. the Knight Industries Two Thousand. He wore a leather jacket — a la Michael Knight — and dangled a pair of aviator sunglasses from his lips. Bieber, who was born in 1994 and thus wasn't even alive for Knight Rider's run from 1982 to 1986, sat beside him in the passenger seat.
Few details have been revealed about the video, but Bieber tweeted on Monday, Sept. 22, that it was for his collaboration with "Surfboard" singer Cody Simpson. "Coming soon. New music video. @CodySimpson @DavidHasselhoff," the "Heartbreaker" crooner wrote.
Us Weekly caught up with Hasselhoff on Sunday, Sept. 21, one day after he filmed with the musician in Venice, Calif. Asked if he had any advice to pass along to his costar, he told Us, "We're all young once, but you know what? Live it up, baby. Live it up."
He added, "You'll pay the price later, but you're only young once. Live it up and don't care what anybody says."
