Watch out, Fergie! Justin Bieber brought the heat to the latest episode of Lip Sync Battle, putting on an impressive performance to the singer’s 2007 hit “Big Girls Don’t Cry.”
Biebs, 21, gave an emotional rendition of the Black Eyed Peas alum’s ballad. Facing off against NFL star Deion Sanders, the pop star took the stage in black pants, a black T-shirt, and a brown wide-brimmed hat. He ran his hands along his body as he sang, working the crowd.
As he made his way across the stage, Bieber crooned, “We’ve got some straightenin’ out to do / And I’m gonna miss you like a child misses their blanket / But I’ve got to get a move on with my life / It’s time to be a big girl now / And big girls don’t cry.”
The grown-up teenybopper finished off his performance by stroking Sanders’ face, inspiring the athlete to jump out of his seat. As revealed in previous teasers from the show, Bieber goes on to show his range with a hard rock performance of Ozzy Osbourne‘s 1980 single “Crazy Train,” slipping into a wig and adding some eyeliner for a turn as the Black Sabbath frontman.
Bieber and Sanders, 47, are just the latest stars to show off their karaoke skills on Lip Sync Battle. The first half of the debut season also included appearances by Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt, Anna Kendrick, John Legend, and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.
