Time for celebrations! Katy Perry lead the congratulations on Tuesday, June 7, as she jumped on social media to react to Hillary Clinton making history as the first woman to lead a major political party in the presidential race.
As news of the 68-year-old White House hopeful’s success broke, a host of celebs took to Twitter to praise Clinton’s campaign and to congratulate her on her moment of history.
“A lot of little girls are in bed right now dreaming for the first time, without limits. You broke the mold,” Perry wrote via Twitter.
“I’ve never been prouder to have a woman card,” added Ellen DeGeneres, referring to Donald Trump’s sexist remark that Clinton’s gender was the only thing making her attractive to voters.
