Supportive hubby. Kelly Ripa’s husband, Mark Consuelos, has her back following the news that Michael Strahan is leaving Live With Kelly and Michael.
Consuelos, 45, retweeted a comment from a fan, who gave a shout-out to Entertainment Tonight’s Cameron Mathison on Thursday. “Thanks for your comments on ET about @KellyRipa and @MarkConsuelos. I’m sure they value your friendship and loyalty,” the viewer wrote.
Mathison has been friends with Ripa and Consuelos for years. The trio previously worked together on the ABC soap All My Children. (Mathison also retweeted fans that are pushing for him to replace Strahan.)

On Thursday, Consuelos also replied to someone who appears to be a family member. “Let me know if you need anything,” Tee Consuelos tweeted. Mark replied: “thanks TB.”
Mark has stayed by Ripa’s side since ABC announced Tuesday that Strahan is leaving Live for a full-time gig at Good Morning America.
Ripa, meanwhile, has yet to respond to the shake-up — but did resurface outside her NYC home on Thursday. She smiled for the cameras while holding Malcolm Gladwell’s 2013 book David and Goliath: Underdogs, Misfits, and the Art of Battling Giants. The bestseller focuses on events where one person is clearly favored over another.
As previously reported, Ripa was blindsided by the surprise exit and has yet to return to the ABC daytime talk show. Ana Gasteyer and Erin Andrews are filling in this week, and Shay Mitchell will fill in on Monday.
