There is a lot to be thankful for during this holiday season — including Snoop Dogg blessing the food on Martha & Snoop’s Potluck Dinner Party. Check out Us Weekly‘s exclusive sneak peek above at the VH1 series’ Thanksgiving episode, airing Monday, November 21.
In the preview clip, Snoop begins by expressing his gratitude for the bounty before them, which costar Martha Stewart is largely responsible for. “Thanksgiving is a time we all gather together to eat a bird that once had a whole lot of feathers,” Snoop says eloquently during grace.
He continues, “Cranberries, stuffing and hot pumpkin pie. But football featuring the Detroit lions — I have no idea why. Amen.” Ah, highlighting the real reason for the season — delicious food and football.
Stewart tries to hand guest 2 Chainz the knife to carve the turkey, who tells her, “I like white meat, Ms. Martha. I don’t know how to cut it, though.”
“You don’t know how? Just cut it gently like this,” Stewart, 75, replies as she starts serving up the bird herself.
Snoop, 45, is quick to hop out of his seat to grab the legs with his bare hands. “You got to hold the back end while you’re cutting it, though,” he points out.
The homemaking maven then receives quite the compliment when 2 Chainz, 39, says, “This is bucket-list s–t. You about to cook the turkey and cut it for me.… It’s a blessing to eat Martha Stewart’s potatoes.”
Tell Us: Who would you rather have as your Thanksgiving guest — Martha Stewart or Snoop Dogg?
