Ay caramba!
To perfect her pasodoble routine (with partner Damien Whitewood) on this Monday's Dancing with the Stars, Pamela Anderson turned to a muy caliente coach: Charo!
Anderson, 42, recruited the Spanish-born entertainer, 59, to prep for the upcoming number, Dan Mathews of PETA tells UsMagazine.com exclusively.
"Charo and Pam consider themselves soul sisters," Mathews, PETA's Senior Vice President, tells Us. "Not just because they are fun blondes, but because they are also doting mothers and fierce animal advocates."
Indeed, Charo helped Anderson title the pasodoble (a dance which mimics bullfighting) routine: "Dance, Don't Bullfight." "Pam's a PETA person. She loves the music but hates bullfighting," Mathews says.
Charo, who has been helping Anderson and Whitewood in rehearsals for Monday's show, agrees. "She adores her native music but is opposed to bullfighting," Mathews explains.
In Charo's home country, bullfighting has been outlawed in numerous cities. "Bulls are tormented in pens to make them angry and aggressive before being released into a ring, often in a daze, where they are eventually stabbed to death by matadors."
On last week's DWTS, a lack of viewer votes put Anderson and Whitewood in the bottom three, despite respectable scores from the judges. Shannen Doherty and Mark Ballas became the first couple to be eliminated.
