Taylor Lautner is one talented teen!
The New Moon star, 17, is set to become the highest-paid teenage actor — once he gets his paycheck for filming Northern Lights with Tom Cruise, Deadline.com reports.
Lautner — who helped New Moon earn $288 million in just seven weeks in theaters — will reportedly earn $7.5 million for the upcoming film.
Northern Lights, which is set to begin filming in April, is about "a gifted young aerobatics pilot who faces off with his controlling billionaire father and falls in love with a gifted female pilot."
Lautner has also been announced to play the starring role in the action-heavy Max Steel, which is based on the Mattel toy line and comic book.
Still, Lautner won't become the highest paid teen of all time. Such stars as Daniel Radcliffe, 20, and Macauley Culkin, 29, have been high earners while they were in their teenage years. (Radcliffe earned $11 million for Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire in 2005 when he was 16, and Culkin made $8 million for 1994's Richie Rich when he was 14.)
