Poor Jane! Jimmy Kimmel proved not even his own 2-year-old daughter is safe from his Halloween pranks when he presented his 6th annual “Hey Jimmy Kimmel, I Told My Kids I Ate All Their Halloween Candy” on Tuesday, November 1.
The late-night TV host, 48, explained that for the first time he has a trick-or-treater living in his house, so he decided to make Jane his victim. Watch how it played out in the clip above.
“We dressed her as a monkey last night and took her around the block. She was very excited about the candy even though she doesn’t know the difference between a lollipop and a popsicle,” he told the Jimmy Kimmel Live! audience.
“She woke up this morning in a snippy mood, and she is also at the age where she says ‘no’ to everything. So I decided it was the perfect time to tell her I ate all her Halloween candy.”
In the clip, Kimmel is heard telling his adorable toddler he’d eaten her treats, to which she angrily replied: “No, you didn’t.”
Kimmel then showed her the empty pumpkin basket, but she was more concerned with the tiny piece of dirt sitting at the bottom of the orange container.
From that point on, everything Kimmel asked her she answered “no” to, even when he asked: “Are you going to contradict everything I say?”
Although Jane seemed unfazed by his cruel prank, plenty of other children across America weren’t so accepting.
