While the first hint of warmth has us itching to ditch our layers, the reality is that even in spring and on some summer nights, chilly breezes and sudden downpours are bound to creep up on us when we least expect them. We’re going to need to keep a jacket on hand. It almost seems like a chore, but with this jacket we found, we’re looking at it a whole new way. Before anyone asks, yes, this Macy’s exclusive jacket does have a hood! Prepare to give off “the cold never bothered me anyway” vibes. Not into hoods? No problem, because it’s removable!
This jacket, which hits at the hip, features a drawstring waist which we can adjust accordingly to fit our outfit. We can loosen it to make room for extra layers, or otherwise tighten it for a waist-cinching effect. Closure-wise, this anorak jacket has a front zip closure with a button closure we can snap on over it. There is metallic button hardware throughout, including on both the chest and hip slant pockets!
Inside, we’ll find an adorable striped lining to help keep us dry. The entire coat, however, is machine washable, so we can certainly get it wet in that sense! No expensive trips to the dry cleaner necessary.

As we mentioned, there are so many colors of this jacket available, though some of them are selling out of sizes! If we’re looking to brighten up rainy days (or complement sunny days), we can choose among multiple brightly-colored options: Emerald Gem, a bright teal, Lemon Spritz and Sour Lemon, two shades of yellow, Blue Star, a periwinkle, Pink Gemstone, a flamingo pink and Pure Pink, which is more vibrant and orangey.
If we prefer to stick with darker or more neutral colors, we also have a beautiful batch to choose from. There’s Deep Black or Bright White if we want one of the two extremes. We can also choose between two different shades of blue: Intrepid Blue, a navy, and Cobalt Glass. Also check out the true neutral, Sedona Dust, which goes with everything!
