Are You the One
Are You the One is a reality series that secretly pairs couples together via a matchmaking algorithm. Contestants have to live together while trying to identify their match by going on dates. If they succeed, the group shares a prize of up to $1 million.
Couples who believe they are matched have the opportunity to find out whether their guess is correct in the “truth booth” for the chance to visit a honeymoon suite and remain paired for the rest of the season. The grand prize is reduced any time the house fails to identify any matches other than the ones confirmed by the truth booth, a rule that began after season 3.
Are You the One aired on MTV from 2014 to 2019 and was revived by Paramount+ in 2023 for season 9. A spinoff titled Are You The One: Second Chances premiered in 2017.
