Bar Rescue

Hosted by Jon Taffer, Bar Rescue is a reality series on Paramount where Taffer helps transform struggling bars into profitable businesses. A veteran nightlife consultant, Taffer has launched, flipped and owned more than 600 bars. His role involves overhauling the business and interior design of each establishment — from bar stools to pour quality to the music selection. Taffer’s wife, Nicole, assists by going undercover to diagnose problems, alongside a rotating team that includes a celebrity chef, a Master of Whisky and a mixologist.

The series debuted in July 2011, and season 9 premiered in February 2024 and introduced guest experts like Phil Willis, Danny Trejo, Dustin Drai and Ashish Alfred, who filled in for Taffer in some episodes.
