Candy

Candy is a Hulu miniseries based on the real-life murder trial involving Candy Montgomery. The series stars Jessica Biel as Candy, a housewife accused of murdering her neighbor Betty Gore (Melanie Lynskey) after having an affair with Gore’s husband, Allan (Pablo Schreiber). The series also features Timothy Simons as Candy’s husband, Pat, and Raul Esparza as Candy’s lawyer, Don Crowder.

Candy premiered in May 2022 with five episodes airing over five consecutive days. Lynskey earned a Critics’ Choice Television Awards nomination for Best Supporting Actress in a Movie/Miniseries.
