About

Killing Eve is based on the Villanelle novel series by Luke Jennings. The show follows Eve Polastri (Sandra Oh), a British intelligence investigator who joins an undercover division and is tasked to capture The Twelve’s assassin, Villanelle (Jodie Comer).

Each season has been headed by a different female writer. Phoebe Waller-Bridge was head writer for season 1, followed by Emerald Fennell, Suzanne Heathcote and Laura Neal. Other characters include Carolyn Martens (Fiona Shaw), Konstantin Vasiliev (Kim Bodnia), Niko Polastri (Owen McDonnell) and Kenneth “Kenny” Stowton (Sean Delaney).

Killing Eve aired on BBC America for four seasons from 2018 to 2022. Oh and Comer won a Golden Globe Award and an Emmy Award, respectively, in 2019 for their performances.
