Outlander
Based on the Outlander novel series by Diana Gabaldon, Ronald D. Moore’s drama of the same name premiered on Starz in 2014. It stars Caitríona Balfe as former World War II nurse Claire Randall in Scotland 1945. Claire gets transported back in time to 1743, where she encounters and falls in love with Highland warrior Jamie Fraser (Sam Heughan).
Season 7 of the series is split into two eight-episode parts, the first of which premiered in June 2023. Part 2 is expected to air in 2024. In January 2023, Outlander was renewed for a 10-episode eighth and final season, and a prequel series titled Outlander: Blood of My Blood was confirmed.
