About

Shahs of Sunset premiered on Bravo in 2012 and follows a group of Persian-Americans living in Beverly Hills trying to juggle their careers and social lives with their families and cultural traditions.

The original ensemble featured Reza Farahan, Golnesa Gharachedaghi, Sammy Younai, Asa Soltan Rahmati, Mike Shouhed, Mercedes Javid and Lilly Ghalichi. Younai left the show after the first season but continued to make guest appearances, and Rahmati left after the sixth season. Destiny Rose and Nema Vand joined for season 7.

Season 9 aired in May 2021, but the series was eventually canceled in April 2022.
