The Amazing Race is a competition reality show where teams of two compete against each other in a race around the world. Competitors are required to solve clues, navigate foreign areas, perform physical and mental challenges and travel the world in order to reach their goal. Each round of challenges is a leg, and teams are progressively eliminated after each leg. The first team to finish the final leg wins a grand prize of $1 million.

The competition series aired in 2001 and a 36th season is set to premiere in March 2024. The Amazing Race has garnered 15 Emmy Awards.
