The Perfect Couple

The Perfect Couple is a Netflix limited series, based on Elin Hilderbrand’s novel of the same name. The story follows a bride named Amelia who is marrying into one of Nantucket’s wealthiest families. In the six-episode series, the wedding weekend turns sinister when a guest is found dead at the Winbury family home. Secrets and betrayals create the suspense for the investigation that ensues.

The star-studded cast includes Nicole Kidman, Liev Schreiber, Dakota Fanning, Billy Howle and more. The show was released in September 2024 on Netflix. In many ways, the show differs from the book by including new character names, Amelia and Shooter’s romance timeline, Shooter’s secret during the weekend of the wedding, How the Investigation plays out and more.

Kidman also served as a producer on the show and has discussed a desire to produce a second season of the series.
