UnReal premiered on Lifetime in 2015 and was inspired by cocreator Sara Gertrude Shapiro’s award-winning independent short film Sequin Raze (2013).
Shiri Appleby stars as Rachel Goldberg, a young reality TV producer who will do anything it takes to create a drama-filled show. She is pushed by her boss Quinn King, played by Constance Zimmer, to set aside her morality for content. The series also stars Craig Bierko as Chet Wilson, Jeffrey Bowyer-Chapman as Jay Carter, Josh Kelly as Jeremy Caner, Genevieve Buechner as Madison and Brennan Elliott as Graham.
UnReal’s fourth and final season aired on Hulu in 2018.
