Yellowjackets

Yellowjackets premiered on Showtime in 2021 and follows a high school girls’ soccer team left stranded in the wilderness after a plane crash — and the lengths they’ll go in order to survive. The series catches up with the remaining ensemble 25 years later to reveal the lasting effects of the traumatic event.

The teen cast includes Sophie Nélisse as Shauna Shipman, Jasmin Savoy Brown as Taissa Turner, Samantha Hanratty as Misty Quigley, Sophie Thatcher as Natalie Scatorccio, Liv Hewson as Vanessa Palmer, Kevin Alves as Travis Martinez and Jack DePew as Jeff Sadecki. Melanie Lynskey, Tawny Cypress, Christina Ricci, Juliette Lewis, Lauren Ambrose, Andres Soto and Warren Kole play their respective adult counterparts.

The series earned seven Primetime Emmy nominations and was renewed for a third season in December 2022 shortly before season 2 premiered.
