Let's be honest, Brooklyn Decker could show up on a red carpet wearing sweatpants, flip-flops and a scrunchie in her hair and she'd still look better than most of the actresses in Hollywood. In fact, during a recent visit to the Us Weekly offices, the 23-year-old Just Go With It star looked radiant despite minimal makeup and a bout of bronchitis (we know, life isn't fair).
That's why we weren't surprised that she stood out like a well, gorgeous Sports Illustrated swimsuit model, at the Vanity Fair Oscar party. Not only did we love her off-the-shoulder ruffled dress by Joy Cioci, which was a refreshing alternative to the sea of sparkly micro mini dresses, but we were also big fans of her pretty makeup, specifically her ultra-lush lashes. So we asked her makeup pro, Brian Haugen, for the scoop on how to recreate the look.
"On her eyes, I used CoverGirl Smoky ShadowBlast in Silver Sky and Purple Pume. I defined her upper lash line with black liner and used a silver hue on the lower lash line. For the lashes, I used individual long and medium Ardel false lashes, positioning more on the outer half of the eye. The trick is to lift your chin and look down in a mirror when you're applying them so you can see exactly where you're placing them. I finished by brushing on multiple coats of CoverGirl LashBlast Fusion mascara."
