Who’s who? Bette Midler‘s date to every runway during the Spring 2016 shows for New York Fashion Week has been her complete clone, and daughter, Sophie von Haselberg, and we can’t get over the resemblance. Or Midler’s amazing headwear.
On the last day of the weeklong fashion blowout, Sept. 17, the twinning pair attended Marc Jacobs’ movie-themed catwalk at Ziegfield Theater in Manhattan, joking with each other during the step and repeat and cozying up to one another in the plush theater seats during the show.
The day before on Sept. 16, Midler, 69, von Haselberg, 28, (whose dad is Martin von Haselberg) and their identical faces hit up two shows: The Blonds at Milk Studios and Marchesa at the St. Regis Hotel.
For The Blonds show that featured gold Egyptian getups, the “Wind Beneath My Wings” singer rocked an all-black outfit with gold shoulder embellishments and a statement black turban. Midler and her daughter, who was matching in all black and a power pony, sat next to Kelly Osbourne in the front row to view the collection.
Sporting another look on the same day, the Beaches star and von Haselberg, who made her NYC theater debut in the play Billy & Ray last year, looked on at Marchesa’s most recent collection. Midler wore all black again, this time thanks to leather pants, a lace shirt, and a daring beaded Renaissance era-inspired headband. Von Haselberg chose a champagne colored knee-length dress, and wore her hair down in loose curls.
